The goal of the “Summer” Symposium is to promote interactions between MS groups in the Southeast in a friendly informal environment. Its free and close, why spend all of that money to go to a far away conference. In other words, why not, last year approximately 80 scientists did.
When: Complex Carbohydrate Research Center at the University of Georgia.
December 8-9, 2010 Where: It's free! All of the expenses are being paid for by AAMSDG from money acquired thanks to our corporate sponsors. Would you like to give a talk? You are invited to make a 20 minute oral presentation at this meeting. We welcome presentations by everyone, and particularly encourage “younger” mass spectrometrists (i.e., those afraid to give a talk at ASMS). If you would like to contribute we would appreciate a response by December 1. Graduate Student Awards:
Win some money ! The top three graduate student speakes at the symposium, as judged by a non-academic panel, will each recieve a $100 Prize. Organizers: Susan Richardson and Ron Orlando will be the organizers for this symposium. Please feel free to contact either of them if you have any questions. |
