10th AAMSDG "Summer" Symposium

The goal of the “Summer” Symposium is to promote interactions between MS groups in the Southeast in a friendly informal environment. Its free and close, why spend all of that money to go to a far away conference. In other words, why not, last year approximately 80 scientists did.

When:
October 6-7, 2009

Where:
Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience (IBB), located on the GA Tech. campus in Atlanta.

Lots of “World Famous” scientists are on the program

It's free! All of the expenses are being paid for by AAMSDG from money acquired thanks to our corporate sponsors.

Would you like to give a talk?
You are invited to make a 20 minute oral presentation at this meeting. We welcome presentations by everyone, and particularly
encourage “younger” mass spectrometrists (i.e., those afraid to give a talk at ASMS). If you would like to contribute we would appreciate a response by September 30.

Graduate Student Awards:
Win some money !  The top three graduate student speakes at the symposium, as judged by a non-academic panel, will each
recieve a $100 Prize.

Organizers:
Cameron Sullards and Facundo Fernandez will be the organizers for this symposium. Please feel free to contact either of them if you have any questions.
